Safety

At Icon Industrial Services, our safety culture is one of our most defining features. Every project begins and ends with safety. From the original planning and budgeting phase of a project to planning our daily tasks, consideration and planning is executed to eliminate safety risk from our work.

It is our core belief that all injuries and safety incidents are preventable with the appropriate leadership and commitment to safety by all involved.

Safety Training

The Icon Industrial Services leadership team  knows how important it is to provide safety training for all our Millwright crews. Each crew member has received extensive millwright safety training through the 4-year Union Millwright Apprenticeship Program, and has access to ongoing refresher classes after they’ve completed the program.

Every employee at Icon Industrial Services receives safety orientation when hired, and more advanced training is provided in the skill areas they will be working in. Training sessions are documented to ensure every employee’s safety training is up-to-date as some training requires annual renewal.

For detailed information on the safety training our crews receive through the apprenticeship program and at Icon Industrial Services, visit the Apprentice Curriculum page.

Safety Qualifications

To ensure our projects are completed safely, we subscribe to third-party prequalification services that enforce safety performance. Our subscriptions prequalify us to work in most facilities, making us confident that we will exceed your safety expectations. Rest assured, we will pass your prequalification process and come prepared to apply our proven safety standards to any project.
